Ana Torralva – El lado salvaje 1983-1985 (2024)

Desechables was one of the most intense bands of the Spanish punk during the 80s. Tere was the definition of punk. As the singer of the band she was not only an icon in the Spanish scene, but also an amazing performer that, through extreme lyrics and provocative shows, created a big myth around her when she was only 17.

The photographer Ana Torralva followed this music act and documented part of their career from 1983 to 1985, even participating in the covers of their albums. In the series we can see the whole band, not only performing but also hanging out, with portraits that show their playful nature of the punk youth of the 80s, exploding after the dictatorship of Franco.
