Ramón Masats – Toro (1998)

A photographic approach to the cruel tradition of bullfighting in Spain. Ramon Masats took pictures of every detail of this ritual, a close look leaving tons of disgusting moments out of the book, but adding many others that nobody else would have added. These last ones are the main interest of this huge publication. Some of the bullrings that appear in this book are not used for this practice anymore, a slow but constant successful movement in favor of animal rights.
