Hirose Motochika – Nostalgia – Yokohama around 1955 (2011)

A view of the city of Yokohama during the post world war era, when Japan was experiencing an impressive growth in their economy through the support and colonization of United States. The book shows around a hundred pictures from late 50s that mostly feature street life. The author, unknown in the occidental world, did an amazing work showing an already non existent Yokohama.
