Gorleben is a famous town in Germany, known by the radioactive waste disposal facility that was installed there in the 70s. A huge protest movement battled against this, where neighbors and ecologists got together to stop the building, but it didn’t work. This book documents those fights in the early 70s, with tons of photographs that not only show the demostrations but also the context, even the daily life at this town.
