Nazario – Mujeres raras (1988)

Mujeres Raras is gay, sadist, funny and extremely incorrect. How morbid a comic can be? Only Nazario can put the bar that high, a set of different women will tell you in different stories all the erotic, violent and crazy ideas they have. Or Nazario has. Coming from an era of total repression during the dictatorship of Franco in Spain this author explodes in the 80s in all possible directions. His astounding color works and the extremely elegant black and white ones along with the ideas behind the stories makes him completely unique.

The 80s were an amazing time for underground comics in Spain and Nazario was probably one of the best along with Ceesepe and Mariscal. For fans of Crumb and Tom of Finland.
