Showa Runaway [昭和暴走], bosozoku magazine (2013)

The Bosozoku are the Japanese gangs obsessed with customization of motorbikes and cars. They are unstoppable with their modified vehicles that race illegally. They are famous outside their country because of the huge scene of motor fans, their beautiful creations and somehow their similarity to unreal characters that could only come from Japan. Since the 80s there are hundreds of publications talking about them, but this subculture started in the 50s. The bosozoku gangs ignore the police, stop traffic in the biggest highways, get in fights and are people that you don’t want to mess with. This magazine is dedicated to bosozoku, their car and bikes tuned and features an introduction with tons of pictures from the 80s.
