Stephen Salmieri – American Grilles (1979)

After the 30s, the design of the cars changed completely. Most of the efforts of the engineers during the next 50 years went to make attractive and memorable faces of these vehicles, which was how most of them were recognized by americans. Stephen Salmieri dedicated a lot of time to document the american car grilles with large format photography, providing an excelent serie of car designs.
