Volker Corell – Good Bye America (1982)

Volker Corell got to photograph the social inequalities of the United States since the late 70s, being able to show the poorness, the star system of Hollywood, racism, drug addictions, the marines and the veterans, the jewish defense league and the gun control with its multiple faces. The land of the free, the broad stripes and the bright stars, they all turn into a messy mix of contradictions that are often not seen from the outside.
